/Art Galleries/Elizabeth Cope Irish artist Elizabeth Cope was born in Co. Kildare, 1952. She currently lives and works in Co. Kilkenny. She paints spontaneous, spirited still life's, views of interiors, animals, portraits and domesticated landscapes. A decorative painter, her style owes a great deal to Matisse and to another decorative artist, Raoul Dufy. Her art has been exhibited in galleries all over the world during the past 20 years and is found in many important public and private collections.
