On Thursday 15th Jacques Bistro enjoyed an exciting and celebratory night marking the first anniversary of the bistro and also celebrating the French national holiday, Bastille Day. The night was a huge success with over 100 guests sitting for dinner. Music provided by Patrick Collins of the Cafe Orchestra. The fantastic menu was careful chosen by Jacques along with wine to match by Donal Morris.

Among the 100 guests were many close friends and family, with three generations of the O’Connor family enjoying the nights festivities. Also among the guests was renowned artist Elizabeth Cope, whose work we are currently exhibiting in our gallery.

Successful Opening Evening at Greenacres

Following an extremely enjoyable evening on Monday the 21st of September we raised a substantial amount of money to procure a painting for the Cancer Care Unit at Wexford General Hospital.

 Over 200 guests enjoyed oysters and Guinness, fresh mussels, poached salmon, artisan meat and cheese and delicious mini pastries all prepared by our team of chefs under the watchful eye of Jacques Carrera.

This was just a taste of what Greenacres can offer as far as events are concerned. We can cater for just about any party, event, tasting, dinner which you may be interested in hosting. The galleries, bistro and private dining in our Bordeaux tasting room can all be used depending on your requirements.

We cater for book and press launches, corporate parties and presentations, more initimate wine tasting dinners, gourmet buffets and private gatherings.  Whether it's canapés or a five course meal, house wine or the best Bordeaux, we have it all at Greenacres. We can also host weddings and civil ceremonys in the gallery.

While we hold most events in the main Art Gallery we can accomodate smaller groups in the intimate Dome Gallery or in Jacques French Bistro on the ground floor. Delicious food is freshly prepared by our own chefs and wine or champagne can be chosen from our vast selection in the wine hall.

Whether you are looking for rustic or a more formal affair, we can supply everything you need and music on the baby grand if you so wish!
