Aidan Butler has been painting for 25 years, and has established a reputation as an imaginative interpreter of the Irish landscape. He has completed large state commissions and exhibited widely in Ireland. His first solo exhibition was in 2001 in the prestigious Bank of Ireland Exhibition Centre and was a critical and commercial success. In May 2004, Aidan exhibited in Hangzhou city, China, along with other leading Irish artists.
In more recent times Aidan has exhibited at the Royal Ulster Academy, the Wexford Opera Festival, The Listowel Writers Festival, and has had work purchased by corporate and State agencies at home and abroad. A prize winning full member of the Pastel Society of Ireland,
